CHAPTER 1: HP-UX 10.0 version B.10.01 Documentation Map
At the HP-UX 10.0 release, the HP-UX documentation set was very different from that of previous HP-UX releases. To make it easier for you to find the information you need, the organization and content of the manual set was changed. Many manuals were combined, redundant information was removed, information was moved between manuals, and some of the information that was in HP manuals was made available in trade manuals.
The following tables explain how the 10.0 and 10.01 manuals map to 9.x manuals, and they provide titles, part numbers, and pertinent information for new and updated manuals, obsolete manuals, and unchanged manuals. For information on how to order the manuals, refer to the HP-UX Documentation: What's Available and How to Order It document or the manuals(5) manpage. In addition, Tables 1-5 and 1-6 provide information on white papers that are available on the 10.01 media and through the HP SupportLine service.
Note: The HP-UX 10.0 version B.10.01 release is referred to as "10.01"
in this document.
