HP's High Availability Storage System is based on an innovative package design that delivers flexibility and ease of use while providing critical functionality to meet the needs of the enterprise, whether supporting a local workgroup or managing mission-critical data.

The system provides unsurpassed availability, featuring dual, hot-pluggable power supplies, power cords, and cooling fans as well as hot-pluggable storage modules.

The subsystem connects to the server via dual SCSI buses, strengthening fault resilience and enabling mirroring in the same enclosure.

The High Availability Storage System uses HP's latest generation of disk drives, which are among the industry leaders in capacity, performance, and reliability. HP disk drives are also extensively tested and tuned for optimized performance in single-server or multi-server configurations. enabling mirroring in the same enclosure.
